Mesa Arizona - USA
What is there to do?
First I will introduce you to Mesa. We are a city of nearly 400,000 people. Located in the Metro Phoenix area, part of the "East Valley" AKA "The Valley of the Sun". The size of the city is roughly 125 square miles, having 3,171 persons per square mile. This information was obtained from www.census.gov I could not find any "facts" on the city of Mesa page, though I am sure they are there, I just do not know where to look.
This page will show a few of the things offered in our fair city. It is not hard to find something for a family to do.
With average high temps from 68 in January to 107 in July, Mesa is very much an all year round city.
Most of the following functions are City sponsored events. I will provide a little detail, and links to more information, where appropriate.

LDS pageant

The Easter pageant is held each Spring at the Mormon Temple in
Mesa. This is not a city event, but still a huge event for the city.
This full production runs several days leading up to Easter
each spring. It is now offered in Spanish at least one night.

Even in the middle of the city, it is still possible to find a

We live close enough to the river, to have a quick trip for wading, fishing, generally playing around to keep cool in summer.
